(WEB HOST INDUSTRY REVIEW) – Data center operator Equinix (www.equinix.com) announced on Friday that the CBOE Stock Exchange (www.cbsx.com) moved its trading operations to the Equinix NY4 Internet Business Exchange data center.

Last month, Equinix announced that it will build its third International Business Exchange data center in Amsterdam.

Located in Secaucus, New Jersey, the data center will increase execution speed for the majority of CBSX’s customers located on the east coast. CBSX moved to NY4 from Chicago to accommodate these customers, according to a press release.
